This Policy applies when you:
By using our websites, submitting information, registering for an event or program, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise interacting with us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We may collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of our websites and systems, or from authorized third parties.

We may receive limited transaction information such as purchaser name, billing contact information, transaction date, payment amount, payment status, partial payment-card details, subscription status, refund status, and transaction identifiers. We generally do not directly store complete payment-card numbers.
We may receive information from payment processors, scheduling providers, video-conferencing platforms, customer-relationship-management systems, email and SMS providers, advertising platforms, social-media platforms, referral partners, professional advisers, tax software providers, analytics providers, and other vendors supporting our operations. We may combine such information with information we already maintain.
When you register for or participate in a Tax Ninja Freedom webinar, workshop, Five-Day Intensive, Six-Month Private Program, membership, course, community, or related event, we may collect and use information to:
Participation in an educational webinar, workshop, or program does not by itself establish an accountant-client, tax-adviser-client, attorney-client, investment-adviser-client, or other licensed professional relationship. Any individualized professional engagement may require a separate written agreement.
Tax Ninja Freedom webinars, workshops, group calls, training sessions, community events, or educational programs may be recorded. Recordings may capture the presenter, participant names, profile images, chat messages, questions, audio, video, screen sharing, and other contributions made during the session.
When recording is planned, we will provide notice through the registration process, meeting platform, event materials, or at the beginning of the session. Participants who do not wish to appear in a recording should keep their camera off, remain muted, avoid submitting identifying information in public chat, use available private-question features where offered, or contact us before participating.
We may use recordings to provide replays to registered participants, include lessons in a membership portal, train or educate future participants, improve our programs, create excerpts or promotional materials where appropriate, and maintain internal records. We will not knowingly use a participant's identifiable testimonial or endorsement in advertising without obtaining appropriate authorization.
We use information to operate our websites and portals, register participants, fulfill purchases, provide digital downloads, deliver software or account access, provide courses, workshops, webinars, and memberships, process applications, conduct qualification reviews, provide tax or business-related services, maintain client and participant records, and respond to support requests.
We use information to send registration confirmations, appointment confirmations, webinar and workshop reminders, login and access instructions, account and program updates, document requests, payment or transaction notices, administrative messages, and marketing communications where permitted.
We use information to understand how users interact with our websites and programs, improve content and user experience, develop new products and services, evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, personalize communications, conduct internal reporting and analytics, and identify operational or technical issues.
We use information to authenticate users, protect accounts, detect fraudulent or suspicious activity, prevent unauthorized access, investigate security incidents, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights, property, users, and third parties.
We use information to respond to lawful requests, comply with subpoenas, court orders, or legal proceedings, maintain required records, respond to regulatory inquiries, fulfill tax, accounting, or reporting requirements, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may send email communications concerning webinar or workshop registration, appointment reminders, program access, course materials, account activity, support requests, products or services you purchased, Tax Ninja Freedom programs, Tax Ninja USA news, educational information, promotional offers, and related business communications.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing emails may not stop transactional or administrative communications that are necessary to provide a product, program, service, account, appointment, or purchase.

We may disclose information to trusted vendors that perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, customer-relationship management, email and SMS delivery, payment processing, accounting, tax software, appointment scheduling, video conferencing, webinar hosting, cloud storage, membership and course hosting, analytics, advertising, cybersecurity, customer support, document processing, and professional consulting. These providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services for us.
We may disclose information to accountants, attorneys, consultants, insurers, auditors, compliance professionals, or other advisers where reasonably necessary.
We may disclose information when you instruct us to do so or provide consent for a specific disclosure.
We may disclose information when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a subpoena, warrant, court order, or regulatory request, protect legal rights, investigate fraud, address a security incident, protect the safety of individuals, enforce an agreement, or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

Tax Ninja does not sell mobile opt-in information or SMS consent. Tax Ninja does not disclose mobile opt-in information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. To the extent applicable privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" more broadly, including certain advertising or analytics practices, users may have additional rights described in Section 15.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, destruction, and other security threats. Our safeguards may include access controls, password requirements, multifactor authentication, encryption where appropriate, secure storage, employee training, vendor oversight, security monitoring, backup procedures, incident-response procedures, and written information-security policies.
No method of storage, transmission, or security is completely infallible. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. Tax professionals are expected to maintain a written information security plan tailored to the size and complexity of the practice and the sensitivity of the information handled.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide products or services, maintain accounts, fulfill purchases, administer programs, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, legal requirements, contractual obligations, professional standards, dispute or litigation needs, and security considerations. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, destroy, de-identify, or archive it in accordance with our policies and applicable law.
Our websites, emails, portals, courses, or communications may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Zoom, GoHighLevel or LeadConnector, Stripe, Canva, social-media platforms, scheduling services, video-hosting services, payment providers, cloud-storage providers, and other external resources. We do not control the privacy, security, content, or business practices of independent third parties. Your interaction with a third-party service is governed by that provider's own policies and terms. We encourage you to review those policies before submitting personal information.
Information you post in public or shared areas — including community groups, membership forums, webinar chat, workshop chat, course discussions, social-media comments, group coaching calls, or shared participant spaces — may be visible to other users. Do not post confidential tax information, Social Security numbers, complete financial-account information, passwords, or other sensitive information in a public or group area. We are not responsible for how other participants use information you voluntarily disclose publicly.
Our websites, services, workshops, webinars, and programs are intended for adults and business owners. They are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we may review and address the matter.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request that we confirm whether we process your personal information, provide access to certain personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete certain information, provide a portable copy of certain information, restrict or object to certain processing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, opt you out of certain advertising, sale, or sharing activities, or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
These rights may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, record-retention duties, security considerations, contractual obligations, and professional or regulatory requirements.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law. Where required, we will provide information about the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for which the information is used, categories of recipients, available consumer rights, instructions for submitting requests, and applicable appeal procedures.
